Most Impactful Two Months Yet!

Hi everyone!

Well, it’s March! The start to 2016 has been a whirlwind here in Uganda. I am proud to say January and February have been our most impactful two months…by far! Our team keeps growing, our reach keeps growing, and more and more lives are being changed.

Most of you know we have kicked off a MAJOR fundraising campaign for 2016. To get to the point: I believe our work here in Uganda is ready to explode. We have spent the past 30+ months serving all over Uganda, embracing the challenges that go along with providing quality, compassionate care in an under resourced nation, and building our team — investing in our people. Money is now the limiting factor in the work we do here.  If you haven’t already, you can find out what projects need funding and come alongside by donating here.

There are around 200 dentists in Uganda — and a population of over 37 million. That, my friends, adds up to an ongoing disaster. If you’ve ever had a dental infection, you know what I’m talking about. You can’t sleep, eat, or think about anything other than this throbbing pain consuming every aspect of your being. Now imagine not having any options for taking away that pain. Or understanding why and how the pain came to be.

We are here to fix that. We have been improving lives by removing the pain from thousands of Ugandan lives. And we are ready to take it to another level.

Obviously what we do is relatively straightforward — we provide quality, compassionate, accessible dental care where it isn’t available. And we teach communities how dental pain starts…and how it can be prevented. Those are the mechanics, and we strive to make sure those mechanics are executed well.

But more than that, we want our patients to see WHY we serve. We believe God gives us life to build His kingdom here on Earth. A kingdom built on sacrificial, unending, never-quitting love. What we commit our lives to should reflect THAT.  We want people to see the hope God has given us…a hope that is unshakable and unbreakable. We want our patients to know we love them, and we are here to serve them…no matter what. We want them to know we are fighting for them.

Please join the fight. And get other to join with us!
